Excellent book, especially for folks new to Denver/Boulder
This book is an excellent source of all things outdoorsy in the Denver/Boulder area. I'm a native, and some of the activities in the book are new to me (namely scuba diving in Colorado lakes). This would be especially good for someone new to the Denver area looking for places to run, bike, hike, etc. Also provides contact information for various organizations if you want more information on a particular activity.

Owls: Whoo Are They

Authors: Kila Jarvis, Leslie LeRoux, and Denver W. Holt
Average review score:

from a biologist perspective
I am a spotted owl biologist, and I just ran into this book at a gift shop. I bought one for myself, my nephew, my friends children,. . .etc. It is really great, not only for kids. It doesn't dumb down the science (using crepuscular and other words, with a glossary in back), and the pictures are well done.

It's a wonderful book!

Proceeding of the first software product line conference
The Software Product Line (SPL) engineering for software development is one of the emerging areas in software engineering field and Software Engineering Institute(SEI) is the leading group of this practice. The major concern of SPL engineering is how to develop software systems in a systematic way for large-scale software reuse.

This book is the proceedings of the first software product line conference (SPLC1) held at Denver, hosted by SEI. This book contains all the papers presented at the technical sessions of SPLC1. This book might be helpful for those who are considering the adaption of SPL concept to their organizations and those who want to know the SPL in practice.

Great book if you like John Denver
I thought that this was a great book. I read it in a very short amount of time. I think that everyone who not only loved John's music, but also loved what he stood for will like this book. I know he was not a perfect man of course he made mistakes in his marriage and in life. The reason I read this book was that I had to write a report about a conflict in someone's life and I choose John Denver. GREAT BOOK 5 STARS!
